Hannah Bendon
Architectural Assistant
Hannah first joined Ellis Williams’ London studio in 2020 for work experience whilst in year 12. She has since gone on to study architecture at the University of Edinburgh, has returned for summer work and is now a Part I Architectural Assistant for the placement period of her undergraduate degree.
At Ellis Williams, Hannah has worked on a variety of projects including the Nursing and Midwifery Council Headquarters, Kirklees College, Ecole Jeannine Manuel, Watergate SEND school and Coliseum Theatres. In addition, she has enjoyed helping with work experience projects from her former school and is passionate about inspiring young people from all backgrounds to get into architecture.
Outside of the Practice, she is a member of the Educational Committee for the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland (RIAS), is a graphic designer for Edinburgh Arcsoc, has contributed to Crumble magazine and been involved in building projects for Beyond the Box and Open City. She loves making physical models as part of the design and representation process and has done this as a freelancer for community arts and engagement programmes such as Sangam Festival and The Huddersfield 10 year Blueprint.
