Andrew Shave

Senior Architect

BA Hons, MArch ARB Architect

Andrew is a talented architect with over 10 years’ experience designing and delivering a wide range of schemes across the UK.

Following graduation from The University of Liverpool in 2009 Andrew first joined Ellis Williams, working on various education, residential and competition projects whilst completing his qualifications to become a registered Architect. In 2015, Andrew broadened his architectural experience, leaving the practice to work at 5plus Architects and later FCH Architects where he enjoyed leading the design and delivery of various high profile residential and hospitality projects across the North West and London.

Andrew re-joined Ellis Williams in 2022 to take a leading role on various projects including an emphasis on large scale residential and complex hospitality. Andrew has a keen interest in adaptive reuse of existing buildings and structures, its contribution to sustainability and achieving net zero carbon. He is an advocate for client engagement at all stages of design and relishes this dynamic, collaborative approach.

Andrew is passionate about future talent and devotes alot of his spare time nurturing the next generation. He has been a guest critique at The University of Liverpool end of year crits and mentored for the RIBA future architects student mentoring programme.
