With over 30 years of experience Mark has developed a wide and ranging portfolio of projects and has led teams on many award-winning schemes across the education, sport, commercial and residential sectors.

Mark has a passion for sport & leisure design and has been Technical Advisor to Sport England for many years, providing specialist design advice and ensuring he remains at the forefront of innovation and best practice in this sector. His leisure centre and sports facilities projects have won both RIBA and Civic Trust awards, with several being identified as “exemplar” schemes by Sport England, including the multi award-winning Ellesmere Port Sports Village.

In addition to his sport & leisure work, Mark also works extensively in the education sector and has led teams in the design and delivery of a wide range of primary, secondary, college and university schemes across the UK. He is also a Technical Design Advisor to the Department for Education (DfE) and recently led the design for the first net zero carbon in operation (NZCiO) school to be delivered under the DfE’s School Rebuilding Programme.
