Paul Williamson

Senior Architect

BA(Hons) DipArch ARB

Paul studied at the University of Sheffield and became a qualified architect whilst working for Stoke-on-Trent City Council. He joined Ellis Williams in 2015 after having spent 10 years at IBI / Taylor Young working on a variety of projects across the commercial, residential, education and bluelight sectors, including the major new Wirral Area Command Centre for Merseyside Police, the masterplanning and redevelopment of Manchester Metropolitan University’s Didsbury Campus, the state-of-the-art UTC Media City and the Lancaster Operation & Custody Suite for Lancashire Constabulary.

Since joining Ellis Williams, Paul has specialised in the Sport & Leisure and Education sectors and has designed and delivered a number of major schemes including Campus Whitehaven, Spen Valley Leisure Centre, Eden Boys & Girls Leadership Academies, Manchester College Openshaw Campus redevelopment, Ingleby Barwick Leisure Centre and MEA Central secondary academy.
