Alex is an experienced Associate Architect who’s international portfolio of work encompasses education, commercial, sport & leisure and residential schemes. His earlier career in Japan and the Far East has shaped his attitude towards design and materiality – appreciating how a considered and craftsman-like approach to materials and detailing can create the most inspiring buildings.

Since joining Ellis Williams in 2017, Alex has led the design and delivery of a wide range of education projects including primary, secondary and SEND schools, and has also been involved in a number of major commercial developments including Leon Quarter (Croydon) and the Brunel Shopping Centre development (Swindon).

Alex is also a RIBA Conservation Registrant (CR) and works on many of the Practice’s heritage projects.
