Jon has over 30 years’ experience as an Architectural Technician and has experience across a broad range of sectors. His past experience includes roles for architectural practices and surveying practices on a range of retail, leisure, commercial and industrial schemes as well as working for one of the UK’s top award-winning developers on large scale residential schemes, mixed-use developments and regeneration of historic industrial warehousing, with a number of his schemes winning RIBA Awards and Housing Design Awards.
At Ellis Williams, Jon has worked on a wide variety of projects utilising his experience of major mixed-use development schemes. These include the Botany Bay development in Chorley, the Nelson Gate development in Southampton and the Leon House development in Croydon. He also has experience across a range of other sectors including education projects such as Littleborough Primary School and Belvedere Academy, arts & cultural schemes such as the Yoko Ono Lennon Centre for University of Liverpool, residential schemes such as the redevelopment of the former nurses home in Douglas and bluelight projects including the major remodelling and refurbishment of St Anne Street Police Station for Merseyside Police.
