The new UCI Luxe Cinema at Mercedes Platz is the latest cinema for film premieres in the region of Berlin. Situated in one of four new buildings in Berlin-Friedrichshain surrounding the Mercedes Platz, it opened to the public in Autumn 2018. The famous Mercedes-Benz Arena, one of biggest events halls in Berlin for concerts and sport events, is also close by.
The cinema features 14 screens, including one IMAX and one iSense auditorium, with more than 1,600 comfortable reclining seats. Before and after screening, guests can relax in the generous foyers with bar and concessions services.
In accordance with the new UCI Luxe standards, the screens were provided with state-of-the-art audio and projection technology including Dolby Atmos and laser projectors.
