ODEON Luxe in Leeds Thorpe Park is the UK’s second Dolby Cinema – the first being the ODEON Luxe Leicester Square which launched in December 2018. The cinema is located at The Springs retail and leisure park, which is a new vibrant retail and leisure destination and part of the wider 275 acre mixed-use Thorpe Park development.
With 971 luxury handcrafted reclining seats across 10 brand new screens, the cinema offers film fans triple legroom and increased personal space so visitors can relax and recline during their film.
The cinema has been designed to offer a more immersive experience for every visit. From the state-of-the-art Isense screen with Dolby Atmos sound and flawless 4K projection, to the second Dolby CinemaTM screen in the UK, combining the most powerful twin-laser Dolby Vision projection onto a huge 200m2 screen and Dolby Atmos sound, with inspired design to transform each visit into an unforgettable cinematic experience – just as the film makers intended it to be.
The cinema has a Costa Coffee outlet to compliment the range of traditional cinema favourites – popcorn, ice cream and soft drinks, as well as wine, spirits, cocktails and prosecco from Oscar’s Bar. There is also a Changing Places facility as well as a conference room.
