Cardinal Newman College was selected as one of the first providers of new T-Level qualifications delivering both the Digital T-Level and the Education & Childcare T-Level from September 2020, with further courses added in 2021.
The ground floor teaching spaces are dedicated to the delivery of the new Education & Childcare T-Level courses being offered by the College. The teaching facilities on both the second and third floors will feature specialist digital installations to support the delivery of the college’s Digital T-Level course (with a specialism in Digital Production, Design and Development).
The classrooms on floors two and three have been designed to be dual-purpose, providing the college with flexible, future-proofed spaces for the long term. The appearance creates a modern building that adopts a similar design aesthetic to other existing buildings within the campus, such as the St Francis Building on Manchester Road. The external materials will be in keeping with the palette of materials used elsewhere within the campus.
Planning permission was granted on 10th March 2020.
