Birtenshaw College is a specialist further education provider enabling students between 16 – 25 with a range of special educational needs.
The c.80 pupils taught at Birtenshaw have been decanted to temporary teaching accommodation in Bolton town centre, to enable, the now complete demolition of the previous structure.
The most recent updates from our construction partner Willmott Dixon are that construction is on track for reopening Summer 2027 with the critical milestone of piling commencement being hit.
Our design is being brought to life, and we can’t wait to see how the students react to their brand-new college next year.
