The Jennings Warehouse is a creative mixed-use scheme, bringing the disused former warehouse building into use and a catalyst within the Porthcawl Harbour Regeneration Area by local developer DS Properties and Ellis Williams Architects, sensitively refurbishing and remodelling the old 19thC structure with a sympathetic new glazed extension facing the town along the west facade and opening up seaward views. The Grade II Listed Jennings building sits between Porthcawl Marina and the breakwater on the quayside, adjacent to the RNLI building. The old Customs House and Watchtower which are also Listed buildings are adjacent to the south on the landward end of the breakwater.
Jennings is amongst the finalists in the Hotel, Retail and Leisure Category. Winners will be announced on 12th September.
