Ellis Williams colleagues are looking forward to attending the AJ100 Awards in London next month to support our colleague, Hannah Bendon, as she has been shortlisted for the AJ100 New Talent Award 2026.
Hannah is a Part 1 Architectural Assistant who has been part of Ellis Williams after her initial work experience with the practice in 2020. She has been an integral part of our London studio since 2023 after completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Edinburgh and is currently working towards her Master’s at the London School of Architecture, all while working on active projects for the practice. Most notably, her contributions have been instrumental in designing a new central library, museum and archive for the London Borough of Bromley, where she has been heavily involved in community engagement to create a socially sustainable design.
Hannah is no stranger to high accolades, having recently received outstanding recognition at the 2025 Scottish Student Awards for Architecture, where she was awarded Best Undergraduate Project and was highly commended for the Andy MacMillan Drawing Prize. a true testament to her creativity, technical skill and her innovative approach to sustainability and community focused design.
We firmly believe that Hannah is a rising star withing Ellis Willians and UK architecture and it is heartening to see this belief affirmed by AJ100 judging panel.
Competition for the award is fierce with six other incredibly talented budding architects in contention for the award. We wish all the candidates the best of luck, they should be incredibly proud of their achievements to date.
The AJ100 Awards 2026 are taking place on the 19th of June at the Honourable Artillery Company, Armoury House in London where Hannah and her colleagues will enjoy an afternoon of food, drink, speeches and celebrating the built environment and the architects who design it.
Good luck Hannah, we are all rooting for you!
