Situated in Gropius Passagen in Berlin-Neukoelln, one of the biggest shopping malls in Berlin, the new UCI-Luxe Cinema opened its doors at the beginning of 2019.

The previous Multiplex-Cinema has been rebuilt to meet the latest UCI-Luxe standards. Five screens plus one iSense-screen provide comfortable reclining seats for 830 visitors. Screens have been equipped with state-of-the-art video and audio technology e.g. Dolby-Atmos and Laser-Projectors.

EWA were appointed to design the interior of the auditoria and public spaces. Foyers and concession areas have also been redesigned and refurnished, with a generous staircase connecting the two cinema levels.

Remodelling works were completed without interrupting cinema operations.
