Feasibility study, masterplan and development framework for the part redevelopment of the Cauldon Park Campus to provide up to 350 student bedrooms.
The site is situated within the Hanley Park Conservation Area and formed part of the Cauldon Pottery Works in the late 1800’s. Since the closure of the pottery works in 1962, the site and its buildings have been a centre of education, initially with Cauldon College, and latterly by Stoke-on-Trent College to the present day.
The location retains much of its parkland setting and the canal is now an attractive tourist and leisure amenity. Its close proximity to the Civic Centre and the University provide a unique opportunity for a sensitive and high-quality student residential development that makes a positive contribution to the conservation area as well as providing a pleasant and welcoming place for students to reside.
