The RIBA award winning Longley Park Sixth Form College is a new 900-place college facility for pupils aged 16-19 in Sheffield. The new college features a wide range of flexible general teaching spaces, specialist teaching and learning accommodation, science laboratories, performance space, a Learning Resource Centre, vocational accommodation and community facilities.

The College was organised on the site to enable a secure south-facing courtyard for recreation and to create a central internal plaza space. This is the College’s heart, where a multitude of activities are articulated with each other, revealing the full presence of others, inviting interaction and creating identity.
