Cardiff Bay is the newest area in the city of Cardiff and is one of Europe’s largest waterfront development projects, encompassing residential, business and leisure spaces.  The proposed Boxcity development will be located within the Bay, further enhancing this developing region through the provision of a pop-up market, performance space, retail and restaurant units, business units and accommodation for visitors. The intention of the scheme is to provide cultural facilities and support start-up businesses, which is in line with the Welsh Government’s aim of further expanding the creative industries sector, currently one the fastest growing sectors of the Welsh economy.
