The Regional Office of Booking.com that was newly opened in August 2015 is located near the Gendarmenmarkt in the centre of Berlin. The office space is located on the second and third floors of a newly constructed office building and provides ample space for 90 employees.
The reception is located on the second floor, as are the attached waiting area and the main meeting rooms, the cafeteria with service counter and the staff lounge. The open plan workplaces are located on the third floor, where smaller meeting rooms, informal meeting areas and a kitchenette break up the overall area. A corresponding roof terrace provides a spectacular view over Berlin and is an ideal location for events.
The interior design concept takes on the polarity of Berlin as a city of contrasts. According to the company philosophy, full-surface photo wallpapers dominate one wall of each meeting room. The topic defined here is then reflected in the selection of flooring, lighting and office furniture. The modern facilities of the rooms in combination with a high proportion of glazing in the facade and individually designed interior provide an attractive work environment.
