Abraham Moss Centre, situated in North Manchester, is a multi-use site providing accommodation for Abraham Moss High School, District Library, City Learning Centre, Leisure Centre, Theatre, City College Manchester and a variety of other groups and agencies.

The site lacks street frontage, is illegible and the quality of its buildings and external spaces is very poor.

The masterplan seeks to create an urban structure at the centre of its surroundings community, a place with its own character and identity, inviting and where there is ease of movement and feels safe.

The masterplan provides a clear framework for the site’s development over the next 10-25 years. The introduction of a Central Street as part of the phase 1, orders the site from day 1.
