Richard qualified in 1997 and initially gained experience on commercial and leisure projects in central London prior to joining EWA. Since joining the practice, Richard has worked primarily in the education sector on projects from inception to handover. Especially on large, phased and complex projects on live sites. He is skilled in leading and coordinating the design team, contract administration and developing a close working relationship with all parties and nurturing a team ethic in order to deliver projects of the highest standard, within budget and on programme that exceed expectations.
Richard is currently working on various projects on the Girls’ Day School Trust framework, which range from large and complex new build and remodelling projects to smaller refurbs on tight summer construction programmes. Current and recently completed projects include Notting Hill & Ealing High School, Blackheath High School, Howells School Llandaff, Oxford High School, Northwood College and St Helens College. Richard also oversees IMS in the London office.
