Olivia Daley
Architectural Assistant
BA(Hons) MArch
Olivia has been an integral part of the Ellis Williams team since joining as a Part 1 Architectural Assistant in 2019, contributing to various projects primarily in the education, arts & culture, sport & leisure and commercial sectors whilst completing her Architectural Undergraduate and Masters degrees. Working alongside a diverse group of architects, she has gained experience and honed her skills in a wide range of architectural practices, developing a comprehensive understanding of the industry and its intricacies.
She is currently working closely with Watergate SEND school, where she has taken a more hands-on role in both the design process and overall project management. She has found this particularly fulfilling given her interest in SEND design and enhancing learning environments for both students and staff.
Other projects that Olivia has been involved in include the RIBA McEwan Award winning East Quay (Watchet), the new Abraham Moss Library and Leisure Centre, a batch of three new-build SEND schools for Manchester City Council and a programme of workspace remodelling and refurbishment works for Anglia Ruskin University to create new agile working space across their Cambridge and Chelmsford campuses.
She believes in the accessibility of beautiful spaces for everyone, accompanied by a conscientious approach to construction that prioritizes environmental sustainability as we navigate the challenges of climate change. This focus allows her to bring a unique perspective to projects in this field, ensuring innovative and tailored solutions that meet the specific needs and aspirations of our clients.
