Excellent news, unanimous approval for our Chester Watersport Hub on the banks of the River Dee. This unique centre will be a shared community facility which aims to increase and widen participation in watersports for all, with the prospect of producing future Olympic gold medallists.
Cheshire West and Chester Council (CWaC) planning committee members unanimously backed the planning application. The vision will bring together the expertise and skills of existing users – Queen’s Park High School Rowing Club, Chester Deva Canoe Club, Scouts’ Canoe Club, Chester Riverside Canoe Club and the Royal Chester Rowing Club to create a world class centre supported by British Rowing and British Canoeing.
We are delighted that these awards celebrate the excellence, outstanding craftsmanship, technical innovation, sustainability and high performance of these building projects and look forward to the LABC Grand Finals.
