A new Occupational Health and Wellbeing Centre for Airbus

Planning Approval was granted in December 2019 and construction partner MPH Construction broke ground at a ceremony on 05th March celebrating the start of the new state of the art Occupational Health and Wellbeing Centre project for staff and the local community. The centre includes a gym, café and meeting rooms replacing outdated facilities for Airbus Operations Ltd at the Airbus factory complex based in Broughton located in North Wales.

One of the largest employers in Wales, employing more than 6,000 people, Airbus has a proud tradition of aerospace manufacturing going back three-quarters of a century. Nowadays, the site assembles wings for the entire family of Airbus commercial aircraft. This new facility will improve the health and wellbeing of all its people.

The facility will be located at the entrance of the site as a gateway building. The Café area will be highly visible from the main site entrance road and offer a welcoming aspect and active frontage.
