In August 2015 Booking.com opened a new Regional Office which is located near Gendarmenmarkt in Berlin´s city centre. The new premises host 90 employees and are positioned on the second and third floor of a newly erected office building.
The reception with its welcome area is on the second floor level together with the principal meeting rooms, cafeteria, food counter and break out spaces. The open plan office is situated on level three, where smaller meeting rooms, informal meeting zones and a coffee kitchen ease up the layout. An associated roof terrace offers spectacular city centre views and is able to host small events.
The Interior Design concept is based on the potential of Berlin as the city of contrasts. Following the company´s philosophy, all meeting rooms are dominated by a full-screen image wall. This defined theme is carried through in the design of the flooring, lighting and meeting room furniture. An individually designed interior, in combination with a modern fit-out and a high proportion of façade glazing, creates an attractive working environment.
