Dominic Williams

Director

BArch(Hons) Dip. Arch(Dis) ARB RIBA CA

Dominic is an award-winning Director and RIBA Client Advisor with over 25 years’ experience designing and delivering a wide range of highly acclaimed schemes across the UK.

He is perhaps best known for his work in the arts & cultural sector, including complex, multi award-winning heritage schemes such as BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art (Gateshead), Storyhouse (Chester) and Mostyn Gallery (Llandudno) which won the Eisteddfod Gold Medal for Architecture and is widely acknowledged as “one of the most beautiful galleries in Britain”.

Dominic has also worked on a wide range of schemes across the education sector, from primary through to higher education, with a specialism in SEND design. His work in education ranges from small remodelling and extension schemes through to major new builds, co-located campuses and estate masterplanning. He also has many years’ experience as a Technical Advisor to a number of Local Authorities.

Today, Dominic honours his father’s legacy as Ellis Williams’ founder, ensuring the Practice has the same core values and produces the same level of responsive architecture that first enabled it to develop it’s international reputation.
