Michael first joined Ellis Williams as a Part 1 Architectural Student in 2006 and remained with the Practice throughout his Part 2 and Part 3 qualifications before achieving chartership in 2014 and becoming an Associate in 2021.

He has a real passion for education design and specialises in the further education sector, working on a wide range of projects from minor remodelling and refurbishment schemes to major new-build projects and campus redevelopments. Throughout his career he has worked closely with Reaseheath College, Cardinal Newman College and The Manchester College, delivering multiple projects for each college and assisting in their wider strategic aims, campus development aspirations and masterplans.

Michael’s wider experience includes a variety of projects across the education sector (from primary schools through to higher education projects), heritage and residential schemes including the Sunnymede development in Birkdale and major new sports & leisure schemes including the new Abraham Moss Leisure Centre for Manchester City Council.
