Since qualifying from the University of Liverpool School of Architecture in 1997, Mark has worked with practices in York, Liverpool, London and Bern, Switzerland, before joining EllisWilliams Architects in 2006

His experience has been in arts, education, residential and leisure projects, most successfully shown to date at Mostyn Gallery, which received much recognition including an RIBA Award & the National Eisteddfod of Wales, Gold Medal for Architecture and the Welsh National Sailing Academy, which received an RSAW/RIBA Award.

Mark works well with clients and contractors and enjoys the role of leading design teams. He has also gained experience in successfully leading projects with remote design teams working in Berlin and Cape Town, South Africa, as well as the UK, overseeing works in detail on site to achieve high quality buildings.

Originally trained as an architectural technician, Mark has developed a keen eye for finished detail, now with a particular interest in arts projects, where he has successfully worked collaboratively with the artists Jacqui Poncelet, Lois Williams & Jessica Lloyd Jones.

Mark has most recently became a member of the growing Liverpool Team.
