Listed building consent and planning permission has just been received for the proposed alterations and extensions to the Grade II * listed Rode Hall, an existing 18th Century (Queen Anne /early Georgian) Stately Home in Cheshire, for the family of Sir Richard Baker Wilbraham on which we have been working for the past two years.
This follows the successful conversion of the adjacent Home Farm into a new private house for Sir Richard and Lady Anne, completed July 2015.
The proposals comprise of mainly internal alterations to improve family living accommodation within the Hall at both ground and first floor level, create better circulation routes and access through the building, remove some of the previous 19th century alteration work and create a new internal glazed courtyard in the heart of the house.
